The particularity is that these dyes intensify after a few minutes. For this reason, dose sparingly and allow time for the dye to activate.

These gel food colorings will allow you to obtain pretty intense colors in a flash because they are liposoluble.

What does "fat soluble" mean?

It simply means that these food colorings are fat soluble because they are themselves made of oil.

The advantage of fat-soluble food coloring is that it mixes more homogeneously in fatty preparations than water or alcohol-based food coloring, thus avoiding the anguish of coloring that does not incorporate well and leaves unsightly stains in your dough. They will mix perfectly with all your preparations containing fat such as :

• your cake mixes containing butter or oil to make cakes and cupcakes of all colors
• chocolate which contains cocoa butter to make delicious chocolate confectionery
• your icing containing butter, oil or Crisco to create cake designs worthy of pastry chefs
• your sugar pastes containing vegetable fats such as shea butter or coconut butter to create original and colorful sugar decorations
