How to use a cookie cutter?

Roll out the dough of your choice evenly with a rolling pin.

Then position your cookie cutter and press it with the palm of your hand.

All you have to do is lift the cookie cutter and carefully retrieve the cutout with a spatula.

If you want to glue the shape to a cake, you can moisten the cutout with a brush or use Crisco as glue.
