What is a drip cake?
The drip cake is a very trendy cake decoration that comes from Anglo-Saxon countries. It is for some years the favorite decoration for the cake design. It is called drip cake because "drip" means "drop" in English. It is indeed characterized by a flowing topping whose drops stop on the walls of the cake. How to make a drip cake?
Generally it is a ganache that is poured. If you make it yourself, consider coloring it with fat-soluble dyes, specially indicated for coloring chocolate. The consistency of the drip ganache should be more fluid so that it can flow.
