The "galette des rois" in January is sacred! We eat one, two, three galettes at least. Finally, we eat them all January, it is allowed :-p

This is the perfect kit to prepare a delicious and memorable snack to celebrate the Epiphany! It includes a preparation for frangipane cream, a bean and a crown.

How to prepare a king's cake?

Recipe for a king's cake for 6 people:

1. In a bowl, pour the contents of the frangipane mix bag. Add 5 tablespoons of milk and mix.
2. Then add 50 g of melted butter. Mix.
3. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and spread your frangipane cream on the surface of the pastry, making sure to leave a 2 cm border. 
4. It's time to personalize your cake if you want to with chocolate chips, praline, etc. Don't forget the bean!
5. Cover with a second disk of puff pastry. Weld the edges. Gild the pastry with egg yolk.
6. Bake for 30 minutes at 200°C

Possible traces of other nuts. Can be kept for 15 days after opening, away from heat and humidity.
