Don't let its looks fool you, this celestial log mold can be used just like a regular plastic log mold.
First, you will have to choose your favorite no-bake log recipe: mousse, frozen log, cream, let your desires run wild!
When filling your cake pan, just remember that the bottom of the pan will be the top of your cake: put a first layer of your basic preparation (mousse, cream, ice cream, sorbet, etc...), add an insert with a different flavor if you wish, add a layer of preparation on top and finish with joconde cookie or sponge cake. Let your preparation rest in the fridge or freezer depending on the recipe. The unmolding will be done easily thanks to the semi-rigid material of the mold.
For the final touch, think of mirror icing or velvet effect spray to have a top of the line cake design!
Be sure to leave room in your mold for your insert, which was previously molded in the semi-rigid insert mold. Then finish filling your "sugar barley" mold and place your layer of joconde cookie or sponge cake.
